I'm Vivi
I’m originally from Cali, Colombia business and life coach, entrepreneur, and writer with big dreams.
Very into: champagne, white chocolate, cakes, good music, good wines, books, movies, traveling, Future world-changers (my grandchildren), my pijamas and creating a life you don’t have to pretend to like.
Avoiding small talk and toxic people since 1988.
I wasn't always an online wisdom guru. There was a time when I swapped my social life for webinars and bootcamps (and it was totally worth it!). Nowadays, my daily attire is business casual on top and pajama party below.
But shh, don't tell my clients—they think I'm fully dressed!
Rewind ten years, and you'd find me jet-lagged, caffeine-fueled, and perpetually attached to my phone. I had the "dream job," the corner office...and the slowly dawning realization that it was all a gilded cage.
Between the relentless demands of my career and the beautiful, chaotic reality of raising children on my own, "balance" was a mythical creature I only read about in magazines.
I was achieving everything I'd ever wanted, but on the inside, I was starting to crumble. I was a woman on the edge, and my dream was starting to feel more like a nightmare.
Sixteen-year-old me hopped on a plane from Colombia to Germany, determined to master the German language.
Little did I know I was embarking on a path to a supposedly "nice, joyless office job." Turns out, it wasn't so joyless after all. That school exchange opened doors to a fascinating career with multinationals, UN agencies, and NGOs.
These days, I'm more likely to be found enjoying coaching entrepreneurs to be, or horizontal on my couch admiring Lake Geneva with my dog, Markus, or busy spoiling my grandchildren.
About Me (Because Clearly, You're in No Rush): Procrastinating or just curious?
Either way, welcome to my virtual haven of creativity.
My life is a mix of Swiss serenity, entrepreneurial hustle, and the freedom to work wherever and whenever I choose (in whatever attire suits my mood). Let's just say my dress code is 'creatively flexible.'
Why do I think outside the box? In addition to being neuroatypical, I'm the result of a blend of Colombian salsa and Swiss clockwork precision. Thanks to a chaotic childhood and my travels around the world, I've developed the superpower to see every challenge as an opportunity for improvement. This has enabled me to become a solutions designer, placing humans at the center of everything and connected to all.
My story is one of unexpected twists and turns, a bit like a telenovela, but with a happy ending (so far!). From Cali to Corporate: Born in Cali, Colombia – land of rhythm and empanadas – I started with a Administration business degree.
Then, Switzerland called, and I found myself immersed in the charming, historical city of Fribourg, adding a non completed law degree to family reasons. Who knew a school exchange trip could lead to a career juggling multinationals, UN agencies, and NGOs?
Certainly not 16-year-old me.
Resilience :
Let's just say my childhood was far from a picnic. Family dysfunction? Absolutely. Growing up in Colombia during the '70s and '80s—think Netflix's 'Narcos'—was a double whammy. My father wrestled with bipolar disorder and narcissism (quite the challenging mix), while my mother, a true warrior, navigated the chaos with entrepreneurial spirit. Their influence transformed me from a extremely timid child into a strong, empathetic woman. Talk about a transformative experience. My mother's legacy? Resilience. Pure, unadulterated resilience.
Finding My Zen (and Reiki):
While law sharpened my mind, Reiki nourished my soul. Over a decade of practice later, I became a Reiki Master. Now, spirituality and business? They're two sides of the same coin for me.
My Hidden Struggles:
Of course, not all the consequences of my past have been positive. I've faced low self-esteem, a love life as unpredictable as a soap opera, and a tendency to feel like a professional victim. Then there's my relationship with money: I know very well how to earn a lot of it, but using it for security and freedom? That's another story. Who knew money could be so stubborn? Fortunately, all this has given me an unshakeable sense of humor and plenty of stories to tell! Perhaps that's why my clients find me so intuitive and empathetic—it's hard not to be with such a background!
Geneva Helper and Holistic Hustle:
Geneva, the global hub of diplomacy (and fondue), became the perfect backdrop for Geneva Helper, my administrative outsourcing agency. It's where my love for business meets my communication superpowers.
Coaching with a Spiritual Twist:
I coach entrepreneurs, helping them launch and grow businesses that align with their values. Think of me as a business whisperer with a dash of Reiki wisdom. I guide them through the complexities of the entrepreneurial world, helping them harness their passion and build something both profitable and ethical.
Mentoring and Metanoia:
My mission? To mentor both aspiring entrepreneurs and spiritual seekers. I believe the best leaders are lifelong learners. And sometimes, life throws curveballs – loss, burnout, career setbacks. That's where my Metanoia program comes in. It's a six-month deep dive into transformation, guided by something bigger than ourselves. We're talking a complete overhaul – vitality, relationships, finances, the whole shebang.
